EYE HAZARDS IN INDUSTRY

Abstract

|
Eye hazards encountered in industry are very large in number and give irreparable damage both physically and mentally to workers. Thus the vision conservation program is particularly applicable to plants having job which require meticulous precision and unusual visual acuity, or those involving special eye hazards. The primary objective of the program are to make certain that each worker has the vision necessary for his job, and that he is protected against eye injuries. The author describes briefly some of the major eye hazards in industry and preventive measures against them.
